---"A funny sales pitch by a pre-teen"- Based on a true story. So, just yesterday at an [innercity Starbucks], I call myself having some down time, before an important engagement, and, well there was this young boy (race does not apply) motioning from customer to customer [inside Starbucks], with a satchel of "one dollar candy bars" for sale, you know, the milk chocolate, almond chocolate, milk chocolate crunch bars--that sorta stuff. So, this young boy, finally reached my table, at this point I'm in somewhat of a textin' frenzy with an old friend, so, you could say my attention was preoccupied at the moment, however, this persistent young boy decided to stop right in front of my table and ask me if I'd like to buy a chocolate bar. I looked up at the young boy, then glanced at my --half of a donut--I had left over. Which was sitting right next to my cup of coffee. I told the young boy that I had fulfilled my "sweet tooth" for the moment, and that since I had already devoured much of the donut (which he was staring directly at) that it probably wouldn't be a good idea I indulge myself into one of his chocolate candy bars. The young boy stared at my donut for a brief moment, then looked me dead in the eye, and said "hey, it's cool, yeah, because a chocolate candy bar go-good with a donut! End quote. Well...., I just sat there and stared at him. Then, I went into my wallet, and gave him a dollar. I selected the Almond chocolate bar. This sincere young salesman had me sold!   --D.A.R. I said to this kid, “  what area are you referring to?  Who are you talking to? “

Kid replies: “ the area we are in, this shopping center area “

I replied: “ oh, I see, so do you mean this area we are standing at, exactly ? “

Kid replies: “ yeah man this area around here”

I replied: humm, I’m not too sure, I’m visiting and not from around these parts”

The kid then grew mildly frustrated and then began to ride off...and then later, he turned back to me and stated:

“ nice shoes “

I replied: excuse me ??”

He replied to me again, sorta chuckling: “ I said nice shoes”    “your shoes are cool”

Later,

The kid hopped on his speed racer bicycle and slowly peddled off around the parking lot...

But then , I shouted out at him again , in a playful manner: “ thanks man, nice hat”

He shouted back at me: 

“ thanks “

I shouted back at him once more, “yo-kid, drink more water, you’ll feel better “

what bicycle exercises can you recommend for losing weight for myself and my two daughters?

In a open and safe area, try peddling your bicycles as fast as you can, one mile at a time, and maybe take some breaks in between. After you’re done doing just that, find a mid size hill and then speed walk the bikes up that mid size hill, and repeat this process until your heart is pounding, and racing .... as your heart begins to pump some good oxygen though your entire bodies. I would suggest doing this a few days throughout the week, for let’s say, 6 months upto a year, and continue the process. You should begin to feel better and perhaps gain more energy throughout your days ahead.

I find this topic extremely interesting,  and I’ll have to activate  my “ genius” on this one, so please allow me to do my best in both understanding your questions and answering your questions. 

Here goes my answer: 

I think for sure :-) ..... that, Math is the bases of all things made, invented, and produced. These things require mathematical equations of some sort because things that are made, invented, and produced usually derive from a particular mathematical equation or mathematical formula.

Now, once you have that particular mathematical equation or that particular mathematical formula figured out, and put into action, a solid object or solid-loose object usually derives from it. 

Here are some of my examples: 

Sneakers :-), Ice Cream :-), Basketballs :-), Cars, Airplanes. Appliances. Houses. Streets. Paper. Paint. Cards. Cell Phones. etc.  

.... and the list goes on and on....

Everything we use in our day-to-day lives, in order to make our day-to-day lives more enjoyable and more convenient, in my opinion, derives from, Math !

It’s a Really Amazing topic i think !!

the other day i was leaving a fast food restaurant, and, as i was making my way to the exit I noticed some guy rushing toward the exit just to open the door for me to walk through it, and for a minute i thought to myself, hummm, that's odd, because i thought this guy was gonna ask me for money as he looked as though he had not showered for a couple of months, anyway, i ended up giving him all the change that i had left over in my pocket, which was about eight dollars and some change.... 

.....fast forwarding to later that day, i got a cash tip from one of my customer's which actually totaled the exact same amount that i  had given that homeless guy who opened up the  door for me at that fast food restaurant... do you think that this was a message ? or just good ole fashion karma? 

....i would have never guessed that i would get that money back all in the same day.... sometimes things just happen and there doesn't necessarily have to be any type of rhyme or reason to it...it made me think twice...   —M.P.
